Oh my gosh, the calligraphy is beautiful. It looks so easy but when you study it, it is difficult. All those curves and slants. Your work is beautiful and always first class! As for collecting dishes in the earthquake belt, well, we have hurricanes here in the gulf coast and tornadoes in the midwest. So I think that disproves the premise that we can't collect dishes based on the natural calamities that may strike the area. The ideal of course is that they are very rare.I totally understand the a person's passion for dishes.
I just love this page Lisa! Your calligraphy is just beautiful!
Gestsural calligraphy DOES sound hard....(as hard as gestural drawing in a figure class I took). You executed it beautifully! Magnificent.
Good Morning! forgot to tell you, yes, I love Bauer, pricey and not enouh choices but whatever I have I adore! I think dishes remind us of playing when we were little girls with those miniature dishes. Have a great day!
Oh, this is really beautiful! I love the entire composition...thank you for visiting! x
oh my goodness, lisa.....this is beautiful!! your letterforms look so free and so elegant! :)
Beautiful Lisa! "Lotusland" is gorgeous on its own *and* in this composition. How wonderful to be able to incorporate your lettering with your photos so effectively. Great work! I am finding your, Renee and Xandra's practice from Yves workshop very inspiring!
you make it look effortless...like anyone could pick up a pen or brush and do that.
Thank you for taking a look. I appreciate your comments!
